REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate degree/diploma with 3 years' relevant experience in an

Assessment and Examination or Educational environment or A National Senior

Certificate (or equivalent) with 6 years' relevant experience in an Assessment

and Examination or Educational environment. A valid driver’s licence

(excluding code A/A1). Knowledge: Examination and UMALUSI directives;

client care; information management; relevant functions, programmes and

projects of the WCED; relevant policies and acts. Working knowledge of

examination databases. Skills: Research; Analytical; communication (verbal

and non-verbal); co-ordination, conflict resolution; writing; computer literacy;

numerical.

DUTIES : Registration of candidates: Execute the registration process of candidates.

Updating of all registrations. Implementation of registration as per policy. Verify

the correctness of registration per district. Implementation of the relevant

policy. Registration of examination and designated centres: Receive and

collate all application forms. Allocation of designated centres as per learner

totals. Inform Districts of registered learners per school and subject

information. Appointment of invigilators: Advice and guidance regarding the

registration of invigilators, according to policy. Verify nominations for

appointment. Process all claims. Attend to enquiries: Execute all walk-in centre

queries: receiving all applications. Deal with complex queries. Updating the

examination information system. Deal with examination-related queries: Follow

up on all telephonic and e-mail enquiries relating to specific cases. Issue

results and confirmation letters, etc. Deal with queries regarding examination

registration: Advice and guidance to clients regarding registration, according to

the registration policy. Reporting and administration: Recordkeeping of all

received cases. Supervision: Daily supervision of staff. Training: Assist in the

planning and execution of training of Districts.
