What iSebenza is (and is not)
- iSebenza is a job listings aggregator. We collect vacancy information from public, original sources: employers' own careers systems, state-owned enterprise portals, and the DPSA Public Service Vacancy Circular.
- iSebenza is not the employer and is not a recruitment agency. We do not accept, process, or forward job applications, and we never charge job seekers anything.
- Every listing links to the employer's own application channel. Applying happens on the employer's systems, under the employer's terms.
Disclaimer — verify before you apply
- Listings are reproduced from their sources on a best-effort basis and may lag behind changes the employer makes. Always verify the closing date, requirements, and application instructions with the employer before applying.
- We remove expired and withdrawn listings automatically, but we cannot guarantee a listed post is still open, accurate, or genuine. iSebenza accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of listed information.
- A legitimate employer will never ask you to pay to apply. If a listing on iSebenza appears fraudulent, report it to bot@isebenza.com and we will investigate promptly.
Attribution & source policy
- Every listing names its employer and links back to the original source — the employer's careers site or the official DPSA circular.
- We only ingest from original sources; we do not copy listings from other job boards.
- Our crawler identifies itself honestly, respects robots.txt, and is rate-limited — see About iSebenzaBot. Source owners can request correction or removal at bot@isebenza.com; removals are actioned promptly.
Privacy
iSebenza currently stores no personal information: no accounts, no email addresses, no CVs. Site analytics use anonymous, random session identifiers that are not linked to you. If this ever changes (for example, when advertising goes live and its cookies require consent), this page and a dedicated privacy policy will be updated first.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape this site at abusive rates, misrepresent listings, or use the site to defraud job seekers. We may block traffic that degrades the service for others.
