REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate B-degree (NQF Level 7) or Three (3) year Diploma (NQF level

6) in the field of Information Science, Information Management, Knowledge

Management or equivalent. Minimum Two (2) years’ experience in the

Information/and or knowledge management environment. Knowledge of

legislation and regulations pertaining to public service administration,

specifically: DPSA, Knowledge Management Framework, PAIA, POPI and

NARSSA regulations. Demonstrable competency in acting Independently,

Professionally, Accountable and with Credibility. Sound knowledge of

SharePoint application. Sound knowledge of Viva Engage Platform. Teamwork,

Time management and change management. Good knowledge of government

programme, project management and coordination skills, client orientation and

customer focus, communication skills and computer literacy. Strategic

capability and leadership, administration skills, communication, planning and

prioritising, customer focused and responsiveness, problem solving and

decision making. Willingness to travel and work away from home.

DUTIES : Establish and implement knowledge creation and harvesting processes.

Identify key business processes for knowledge harvesting. Develop knowledge

harvesting instruments/templates. Establish knowledge sharing and

dissemination platforms. Implement and maintain knowledge management

database/system. Develop and implement knowledge Management

Awareness Plan. Maintain stakeholder Engagement. Supervise performance

of staff. Provide knowledge management inputs on the Directorates’ Annual

Operational Plan.
