SALARY : R407 337 per annum, (OSD)

CENTRE : Cradock, Dohne (Stutterheim), Adelaide Research Station

REQUIREMENTS : National Diploma (NQF 6) in Pasture or Agronomy or Botany as recognized by

SAQA. Valid compulsory registration with SACNASP as a Certificated Natural

Scientist. Three (3) years’ post-qualification technical (scientific) experience.

Knowledge of planted pasture / veld management / ecology / botany /

agronomy is beneficial. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and

compliance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Technical

Competencies: Programme and project management. Scientific

methodologies. Research and development. Computer-aided scientific

applications. Knowledge of legal compliance. Technical report writing. Creating

a high-performance culture. Professional judgment. Data analysis. Mentoring.

DUTIES : To provide technical support for research, assessment, evaluation,

development, innovation and protection to ensure the sustainability of

implement methodologies, policies, systems and procedures. Provide

technical support and advice. Perform technical scientific analysis and

regulatory functions. Research and development. Human capital development.
