REQUIREMENTS : BSc degree (Hon) (NQF 8) in Aquaculture or Marine Science or Ichthyology or

Animal Science as recognized by SAQA. Valid compulsory registration with the

South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) as a

professional Natural Scientist. Three (3) years post-qualification natural

scientific experience. Technical Competencies: Programme and project

management. Scientific methodologies and models. Research and

development. Computer-aided scientific applications. Knowledge of legal

compliance. Technical report writing. Creating a high-performance culture.

Professional judgment. Data analysis. Policy development and analysis.
