Key Responsibility Areas:   • Developing and managing the geographic information system and related databases.  • Ensuring the implementation of an environmental management system and as well compliance.  • Liaising with and assists stakeholders and officials concerned with data and information management.  • Providing information and presentation support to all branches.  • Providing training and support to staff.  • Ensuring health and safety.  • Undertaking related assignments.   Competencies:   • Organisational Awareness  • Problem Solving  • Information Management  • Data Exchange  • Professional Conduct  • GIS Systems & Software  • Spatial Awareness  • Consulting  • Communication  • Client Orientation & Customer Focus  • Accountability   Essential Requirements:   • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) and a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) certificate or any other related and equivalent certificate. • Valid motor vehicle driving license. • 2 Years relevant experience.   Preferred Requirements:   • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or any other related and equivalent qualification.   • 3 Years relevant experience.   Special Conditions:   Must have interest and capacity to work with large volumes of data, be creative and artistic in presenting work.   Physical Requirements:   Ability to work on computer for long period. Must be in possession of a valid driver licence
