SALARY : R487 197 - R573 897 per annum (Level 09)

CENTRE : Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government

REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree); A

minimum of 3 years' relevant experience; A valid Code B (or higher) driving

licence. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Extensive knowledge of

enterprise risk management frameworks and working principles; familiarity with

public sector legislative and regulatory knowledge such as PFMA and national

treasury risk management regulations. Applicable legislation and regulatory

frameworks. Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package

(Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal); Ability to deal with various

levels of management and exercise utmost discretion in respect to sensitive

and confidential information. Negotiation skills; Analytical and problem-solving

skills; Advisory and personal judgement skills; facilitation and stakeholder

engagement skills; planning, organising and time-management skills;

relationship and interpersonal skills.

DUTIES : To supervise and implement the risk management framework in the

organisation; Implement and maintain the enterprise risk management policies,

strategies and operational plans; Ensure risk mitigation and control support;

prepare and submit professional, high-quality and accurate reports; facilitate

the identification, analysis and assessment of risks.
