REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 Certificate. A Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 6/7) as recognised

by SAQA in Public Administration / Public Management / Administration. 2 -3

years relevant experience in administration, of which 1 year must be at

supervisory level. Advance Computer Literacy will be an added advantage.

Valid driver’s Licence as it will be required to travel. Competencies: Willingness

to work extended hours. Supervisory, analytical, good financial management

skills computer literacy (Microsoft Office Package, Communication Verbal and

Written at all levels, good interpersonal skills, Planning and organising skills,

ability to work independently but also part of a team, ability to work under

pressure, ability to gather and analyse information. Flexibility and reliability.

Conflict management.

DUTIES : Render general admin support services. Provide Supply Chain support

services within the component. Provide financial administration support

services within the component.

NB: All shortlisted candidates including SMS, shall undertake two pre- entry assessments. One must be a practical exercise, and the other must be an Integrity (Ethical Conduct) Assessment. Applicant(s) previous background/reference checks will be verified through contactable referees. The successful candidate will enter into an annual performance agreement. The candidate annually will be requested to disclose his/her financial interest.
