POST 26/237 : PERSONAL ASSISTANT: IMMOVABLE ASSET MANAGEMENT REF NO:

SALARY : R338 106 – R398 277 per annum (Level 07)

CENTRE : Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification) plus an accredited

secretarial diploma and/or administrative qualification on the level of NQF level

5 or relevant higher tertiary qualification; A minimum of 3 years’ experience in

rendering secretarial/ administrative support services to management/ senior

management; A valid (Code B or higher) driving license. NB: People with

disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to

transport, may also apply. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: General

Support; Financial Support; Record keeping; Relevant policies and

procedures. Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package

(Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Communication skills (written and verbal); Good

interpersonal and decision-making skills; Planning and Organising; Ability to

work independently and as part of a team.

DUTIES : Provide a secretarial/ receptionist support service to the manager; Render

administrative support services; Provide support to the manager regarding

meetings; Support the manager with the administration of the manager’s

budget; Studies the relevant Public Service and departmental prescripts/

policies and other documents and ensure that the application thereof is

understood properly.
