About this role

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Analyses the effectiveness and synergy between transport and/or freight policies, practices,
    plans and programmes.
  • Undertakes research, engagement and transport economics processes to develop transport
    and freight strategic frameworks, policies and plans under supervision of the Senior Manager.
  • Undertakes strategic assessment and input on key transport and freight priority projects.
  • Undertakes feasibility studies, conceptual design, project packaging, programmes & phasing
    and financial/economic implications to inform transport and freight projects.
  • Co-ordinates specific administrative and activity related reporting and recordkeeping
    requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree (NQF Level 7) in Economics or Transport Economics or any other related and
    equivalent qualification.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license.
  • 5 Years relevant experience.
     

Preferred Requirements:

  • 6 Years relevant experience.
