About this role

Job Purpose: 

Plans, manages, implements and ensures effective and efficient Human Resources management of the HC section to ensure alignment of all human capital services to the municipality’s overall strategy; alignment of all human capital policies with applicable legislation. 

 

Key Responsibility Areas: 

•Identifies with the broader key performance areas that support the IDP and the Unit’s planned objectives from a service delivery and performance perspective. 

•Aligns the Unit’s strategic objectives with the key performance and result indicators of the functionality. •Implements the Talent Management strategy of the organisation, implementing processes and systems that will attract, develop and retain identified personnel in conjunction with line. 

•Implements a strategic workforce plan in consultation with line management which meets the needs of the organisation. 

•Translates and cascades broad organisational performance drivers into team and individual performance targets. 

•Promotes opportunities and provides guidance that enable employees to engage in effective management of their own physical, mental, spiritual, financial and social well-being. 

•Ensures that the organisation design facilitates the purpose of the organisation. 

•Manages processes associated with the preparation of submissions for introducing new or, for review of existing policy frameworks and implementation of specific procedures, systems and controls to direct the core functions of the branch.

 •Manages the administrative information consolidation and reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result indicators of the functionality. 

• Directs and manages project execution processes.

Requirements

Essential Experience   • 5 Years relevant experience.  Computer Literacy.  Preferred Experience   • 6 Years relevant experience.  Essential Qualifications   • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Human Resources Management or any other related and equivalent qualification. , Project Management Certificate.,  Valid motor vehicle driving license  Preferred Qualifications  • Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
