Job Purpose:
Manages, controls and provides a specialised advisory and support service specifically pertaining to the study and understanding of work procedures, content and outcomes.
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Review feasibility studies for departments, designs and plans new procedures, estimated duration and anticipated benefits.
• Designing and planning new procedures.
• Presents to clients on project matters.
• Supervises the implementation of agreed recommendation.
• Liaises with Principal Management Advisors.
• Keeps abreast of current developments and advise management.
• Develops and present work study appreciation and training courses for senior municipal officials and other clients as necessary.
• Undertakes studies of jobs to evaluate the work content.
• Assess labour strengths through work study and other techniques.
• Compile job procedures, standard work values and manuals for procedures.
• Examines and reports on various systems and methods in use.

Essential Requirements:
• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Operations Management or Production Management or Industrial Engineering or Management Services or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license
• 3 years relevant experience
• Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements:
• Degree (NQF Level 7) in Operations Management or Production Management or Industrial Engineering or Management Services or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• 4 Years relevant experience.
