We are seeking a highly motivated, technical, and commercially savvy Presales Engineer to lead our technical expansion in the data integration market. This pivotal role will focus on driving technical wins, demonstrating business value, and architecting solutions specifically around the Qlik Data Integration platform, with a heavy emphasis on Qlik Talend and Qlik Talend Cloud. You will partner closely with our sales team and leadership to act as a trusted technical advisor for prospects, transforming complex data challenges into elegant, automated integration architectures.
What you'll do:
Solution Discovery & Scoping: Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects to understand their current data landscapes, legacy bottlenecks, and overall business objectives.
Technical Demonstrations: Deliver compelling, high-impact product demonstrations of Qlik Talend and Qlik Talend Cloud to both technical architects and C-level executives.
Proof of Concepts (PoC): Own, scope, and execute successful Proof of Concept engagements, showcasing how Qlik Talend effectively handles data ingestion, transformation, quality, and governance.
Architecture Design: Design hybrid and multi-cloud data integration pipelines connecting varied sources (SaaS, Mainframe, RDBMS) to modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, etc.).
RFP & Proposal Support: Provide authoritative technical responses to RFPs/RFIs and collaborate on scoping Statements of Work (SoW).
Practice Enablement: Act as the internal subject matter expert, bridging the gap between our analytics knowledge and new data integration capabilities.
Your Expertise:
Presales Expertise: 5+ years of experience in a technical presales or solutions architecture role, specifically within the data integration, ETL/ELT, or data management space.
Qlik Talend Mastery: Proven, hands-on experience with Talend Studio, Talend Cloud, or Qlik Talend solutions. Knowledge of Qlik Replicate or Qlik Compose is a significant advantage.
Data Ecosystem Fluency: Strong understanding of cloud data architectures, real-time data streaming (Change Data Capture / CDC), API management, data quality, and data governance frameworks.
Cloud Infrastructure: Solid familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern cloud data warehouses.
Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, with the unique ability to articulate complex technical data pipeline concepts as clear business outcomes.
