About this role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Travel Agent to coordinate and manage business travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, ground transportation, visas, and related services. The successful candidate must work well under pressure to ensure travel bookings are processed timeously while complying with company travel policies and provide excellent support to travellers.

Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Travel and Tourism, Travel Management, Hospitality, or a related field Proficiency in Galileo (GDS) 3 - 5 years' experience in a travel consulting or corporate travel environment. Experience managing domestic, regional, and international travel bookings. Strong administrative, customer service and organisational skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple travel requests simultaneously.  Excellent communication skills

Duties

Travel Management Coordinate and process domestic, regional, and international travel bookings, including flights, accommodation, car hire, and transfers Process travel requests through relevant channels  Ensure travel bookings comply with company policies and approval processes  Assist travellers with travel planning, visa applications, and foreign exchange arrangements. Prepare and issue accurate travel documentation. Customer Service Provide travel advice and respond to travel-related enquiries. Manage travel changes, cancellations, and disruptions. Liaise with travel suppliers to ensure efficient and quality service delivery. Administration and Financial Management Process supplier payments and travel-related invoices. Invoice business units for travel expenses and ensure timely cost recovery. Assist with reconciliation of supplier statements and travel accounts. Process refunds for cancelled travel arrangements. Maintain accurate travel and financial records and respond to ad hoc queries. Stakeholder Management Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers, including airlines, accommodation providers, car rental companies, and visa service providers. Promote compliance with company travel policies and support cost-effective travel practices
