Kick-start your career with Pick n Pay's UIF Skills Programme. This six-month programme offers unemployed South African youth the opportunity to gain practical retail experience while developing valuable workplace skills through a combination of online learning and hands-on in-store training.

Programme Details
• Programme Duration: 6 Months
• Stipend: R2,000 per month
• Learning Model: Blended Learning (2 days online learning and 3 days in-store practical training per week)
• Location: Various Pick n Pay Stores within Gauteng Region
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Unemployed South African youth aged 18–40 years
- Passion for customer service and the retail industry
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing the programme
Able to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays where required

What You Will Learn

Key Responsibilities
- Attend and complete all online learning modules and assessments
- Participate fully in practical in-store training
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Assist with merchandising and maintaining store standards
- Support stock replenishment and inventory activities
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards
- Work collaboratively as part of the store team
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude throughout the programme
