What will you do?

  • Lead strategic projects and stakeholder engagements.
  • Work within an agile environment, contributing to the determination and delivery of epics, features, and user stories.
    • Maintain agile backlogs in collaboration with the Product Owner to ensure alignment with project objectives.
    • Lead stakeholder management efforts, fostering strong relationships with clients to ensure a customer-centric approach.
    • When needed by the Agile team, create, and execute, unit as well as end-to-end testing
    • When needed by the Agile team, Participate in design and peer reviews.
    • When needed by the Agile team support production deployments and performance testing.
    • Ensure quality by supporting coding and architectural standards and thorough unit testing.
    • Utilise Jira to create detailed tickets, tracking and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Conducting knowledge-sharing sessions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse data, and contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes.
    • Participate in design and peer reviews.
  • Process engineering
    • Design, implement, and optimize existing processes.
    • Design or refine new and existing processes to streamline operations.
    • Create detailed process maps, workflows, and documentation.
    • Assess and implement automation solutions, leveraging IT tools to simplify repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and present business cases, clearly outlining project scope, objectives, and potential benefits.
    • Conduct training sessions for business resources, facilitating smooth transitions to newly automated processes.
    • Drive change management activities, overseeing the seamless integration of automated processes into existing workflows, including Go-live communications during process deployment to production.
    • Conduct comprehensive analysis, mapping AS-IS processes, defining TO-BE processes, and developing clear Process Design Documents (PDD) for effective communication and implementation guidance.
    • When needed provide ongoing Business as Usual (BAU) support for production processes, addressing issues and optimising performance.
    • Supports investigation and remediation of production level issues.
    • Review processes with analysts for specification/improvement.
    • Present demos to business partners and stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and RPA advancements to drive innovation within the organisation.
  • Supports skills transfer by mentoring resources on business analysis and process engineering best practices.

Qualifications and experience

  • IT Related Degree or IT Related Diploma or qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Process Engineer preferably in an Enterprise environment
  • Using KTA (Kofax Total Agility Platform), Automation and AI Tools.NET, or SQL preferable
  • Kofax Total Agility training/certification preferable.
  • Agile or Scaled Agile Framework certification and experience preferable.
  • Experience in delivering AI and Automation Solutions preferable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Knowledge of various toolsets such as Jira and Azure DevOps will be advantageous.
  • Experience in C#, Python an advantage
  • Experience in a Dev Ops environment an advantage
  • Experience in the Financial Industry preferable.

Knowledge and skills

  • Extensive Experience in Business Analysis and Process Engineering.
  • Solid understanding of Workflow Design Principles.
  • Experience using the Scaled Agile Framework (Or Agile Frameworks)
  • End To End solution support experience a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in Enterprise Software Development Methodologies.
  • Highly self-motivated to deliver both independently and with strong team collaboration.
  • Strong written and oral communications along with presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with tools like Automation Anywhere, UIPath
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks
