Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
• Analysing business requirements and designing technical solutions.
- Develop, test, implement and maintain enterprise software applications in accordance with the Company's software development standards, coding practices and quality guidelines.
- Developing both front-end and back-end components in accordance with corporate development standards.
- Designing, developing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures and queries.
- Developing and maintaining SSRS reports.
- Diagnosing and resolving software defects and production support issues.
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement of development standards and practices.
- Collaborating with business users and cross-functional teams to identify, analyse and resolve system requirements and technical issues.
Qualifications:
- A Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in full stack software development.
Strong Experience with:
- Angular 17 - 21
- Angular Material
- HTML, CSS and TypeScript
- C# and .NET Framework 4.8 (or later) – including Entity Framework
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Git source control (Azure DevOps)
- REST API development and integration
- A solid understanding of software design principles and development best practices.
- Experience designing and maintaining relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative development team.
Advantageous Skills
The following experience would be advantageous but is not essential:
- Progressive Web Applications (PWA)
- Experience using AI-assisted development to improve productivity while maintaining high-quality, maintainable code
- Experience working with AI agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, or integrating AI services into software solutions.
