Key Responsibility Areas:
• Preparing for the days work ensuring that all machines, tools, stores and materials are collected and are in good working order.
• Maintaining public land, facilities and infrastructure.
• Maintaining allocated small plant and equipment in a clean and functional condition.
• Ensuring Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations are complied with.
• Assisting members of the general public.
• Undertaking related assignments e.g. Acting in the capacity of surrounding posts.

Essential Requirements:
• An appropriate level of primary education.
• Certificate of competence in the operation of small plant and equipment or obtainable within 6 months of appointment.
• 6 Months relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements:
• An appropriate level of secondary education.
• 1 Year relevant experience
Special Conditions:
1. May be required to work overtime.
2. May be required to work in all weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be physically fit and healthy to perform all manual and physical requirements of the post.
